MINA Sofia Marks the Day of the National Enlighteners with a Capsule Multi-Sensory Performance
The History and Spirit of Bulgaria Come Alive on November 1 and 2 at MINA

Mina Museum Sofia

In honor of the Day of the National Enlighteners, the immersive museum MINA Sofia at Serdika Center presents a capsule multi-sensory performance dedicated to the people of letters, knowledge, and education. The performance combines sound, light, and a 360-degree visual environment to transport visitors to the heart of the Bulgarian National Revival.

Through living images, voiced archival quotes, and a poetic narrative line, the interactive show traces the path of the Bulgarian spirit – from the alphabet of Cyril and Methodius and the educational mission of their disciples, through Paisius, Sophronius, Neofit Rilski, and Dr. Petar Beron, to the revolutionary flame of Levski, Botev, Karavelov, and Rakovski. The finale pays tribute to Vazov, Drinov, and Gerov – the figures who laid the foundations of modern Bulgarian culture and education.

The capsule multi-sensory performance tells the story of the eternal connection between memory, knowledge, and spirit. For approximately 5 minutes, visitors are immersed in a world where words, music, and visual projections intertwine into a shared experience – historical, emotional, and inspiring. The performance is available to all visitors holding a valid ticket for any time slot across both days of the event.

Warning! The immersive experience contains rapidly changing images, as well as moments of intense lighting and loud sounds, which may be harmful to individuals for whom such stimuli are medically contraindicated (e.g., epilepsy, vertigo).
