
“Lampio and the Grain of Light” is a production by the Stela Popescu Theatre, directed by Aurelian Horațiu Bîrcă and dramatized by Victoria Pătrașcu.
With over a hundred performances on the Stela Popescu Theatre stage, this show is more than just a performance – it’s a journey of courage, determination, and self-discovery.
The protagonist, a little firefly who has lost his light, embarks on a magical adventure to rediscover his sparkle. Along the way, he learns important lessons about confidence, perseverance, and purpose. The show’s heartfelt message: “You can only shine when you do what you truly love.”
About the Author
The play was adapted by Victoria Pătrașcu, a Romanian writer specializing in children’s literature and theatre. She is a founding member and vice president of De Basm – The Association of Writers for Children and Adolescents. Through this organization, she has initiated and taken part in numerous cultural projects for children and young people, especially those from disadvantaged areas, aiming to bring them closer to reading and literature.
