“Lampio and the Grain of Light” is a production of the Stela Popescu Theater, directed by Aurelian Horațiu Bîrcă, dramatized by Victoria Pătrașcu.
The show has over one hundred performances on the stage of Stela Popescu Theater.
It is more than a performance – it is a journey about courage, determination, and discovering one’s own value. The protagonist, a firefly who has lost his light, embarks on a magical adventure to regain his glow. Along the way, he learns essential lessons about trust, perseverance, and vocation. “You can shine only when you do what you truly love” – is the profound message of this show.
About the author:
The play’s dramatization was created by Victoria Pătrașcu, a Romanian writer specializing in children’s literature and drama. She is a founding member and vice president of the De Basm Association – the Association of Writers for Children and Adolescents. Through this organization, she has initiated and participated in numerous cultural projects for children and young people, especially from disadvantaged areas, aiming to bring them closer to reading and literature.
