NUTRITIONAL EDUCATION WORKSHOP

During the nutrition workshop for children, participants will discover the resources their bodies get from food in order to stay healthy and develop harmoniously. In their adventure through the world of nutrition, they will learn how certain vegetables resemble the body parts they nourish. For example, a sliced carrot looks like an eye, and as we know, carrots help support vision.

We will also learn how to create a nutritious rainbow on our plates by including grains, vegetables, fruits, protein-rich foods, dairy products, and healthy oils. In addition, we will discuss the importance of hydration and how a healthy breakfast provides the energy needed for a successful school day.

FINANCIAL EDUCATION WORKSHOP

Inspired by Robert Kiyosaki’s words, “If you don’t know how to take care of money, money will stay away from you,” the financial education workshop for children will teach participants about money and its usefulness, why saving is important (understanding the difference between needs and wants), as well as basic information about banks and banking services.

By the end of the workshop, children will understand why it is important not to spend money carelessly, but instead to start saving in order to turn their dreams into reality, after first making a proper plan.

Workshop duration: 30 minutes

All children with tickets to MINA Bucharest permanent shows can participate in the workshops free of charge.
