Mina Museum kids workshops

Children will build an automatic hammer that hits a box, using Lego pieces and Lego Spike Essential electronic components: hub, motor, and color sensor.

Programming is done on a tablet in the Spike Lego Education app, where children will become familiar with code blocks controlling speed and rotation direction generated by the color sensor, as well as sound blocks.

Through this activity, children will learn to think logically, collaborate, and combine creativity with technology, developing essential skills for understanding how everyday tools work and the basic principles of engineering.

Recommended age: 6–12 years
Duration: 1h
