The Frozen Lands

Planet of Animals, Chapter 3

Planet of Animals is a concept of immersive shows created by MINA – Museum of Immersive New Art, inviting audiences on a spectacular journey through some of the world’s most fascinating habitats.

Without cages, without intervention in nature, yet closer than ever before, the experience offers a modern alternative to the traditional zoo, using technology to present animals at real scale, exactly within their natural environments.

Each chapter of the series explores a different habitat – from jungles and savannas to polar regions and the deep oceans – capturing authentic moments from wildlife: hunting, migration, adaptation, and the fragile balance of ecosystems.

Planet of Animals is both an educational and emotional experience, designed for children and adults alike, encouraging respect for nature and a deeper understanding of the essential role every species plays in sustaining life on Earth.

Chapter 3: The Frozen Lands

In The Frozen Lands, audiences are invited to explore some of the coldest and most awe-inspiring regions of the planet – places where life has found extraordinary ways to survive.

Above the icy seas, seagulls and albatrosses soar, true masters of the air, capable of crossing entire oceans without stopping. On drifting ice floes and rocky shores, seals and sea lions rest, perfectly adapted to freezing waters.

In the depths, penguins swim at astonishing speeds, while whales – the largest animals ever to have lived on Earth – communicate through songs that travel across vast oceans.

Polar bears, the largest land predators, dominate these frozen landscapes, relying on sea ice for survival and demonstrating remarkable resilience in the face of extreme cold.

This chapter is an immersive experience about adaptation, balance, and interdependence. From the flight of the albatross to the songs of the whales, every species plays an essential role in the planet’s ecosystems. Protecting cold regions and the oceans ultimately means protecting all life on Earth.
