MINA – Museum of Immersive New Art invites the public on a spectacular journey through the mythology of Ancient Egypt, with its new immersive show: “Ancient Egypt – Under the Gaze of the Gods” – an original production by the MINA Creative Studio team. This visual and auditory experience brings to the forefront the legends, deities, rituals, and fascinating mysteries of a millennia-old civilization, in a captivating format accessible to all ages.
The protagonist of this show is Miw, a wise, explorative, and storytelling cat who guides visitors through a series of animated scenes in which we discover the mythological and spiritual universe of Ancient Egypt. The voice of the character Miw is elegantly performed by Amalia Enache, a journalist and presenter appreciated for her narrative depth and clarity.
The visual chapters of the show:
Dawn with Khepri – Miw follows the sacred scarab, symbol of rebirth, teaching us about the morning god, Khepri, and the sun’s regenerative powers.
Anubis and the Afterlife – We discover the embalming ritual and the land of the dead, alongside the jackal god, protector of souls.
The Embrace of Nut – The sky arches over the world in the form of the goddess Nut, revealing the mysteries of astrology and the cosmic cycle.
The Solar Boat – A journey among the stars, where pharaohs, Anubis, and Horus float on the Mandjet, the solar vessel, on their path to eternity.
The Protection of Bastet – The cat goddess teaches us about motherhood, balance, and the banishment of evil spirits, in a tribute to the sacred feline.
Ma’at – Balance and Truth – The weighing of the heart in the Hall of the Two Truths, where the fate of souls is decided, under the gaze of the goddess of justice.
The show combines special effects and a warm narrative inspired by authentic myths. The story told by Miw transforms the experience into a visual, spiritual, and emotional fairytale, where each visitor is invited to reflect on balance, protection, and connection with the universe.
