Kandinsky

The Immersive Show

The show offers a sensory journey into the masterpieces of Wassily Kandinsky, one of the essential figures of modern art and a pioneer of abstract painting. Art and cutting-edge technology come together to bring his works to life, impressing through their intellectual and reflective depth.

The show invites the public into a multisensory experience through the life and works of the celebrated painter, where painting, sound, and movement merge. Throughout the show, the artist’s works come alive through projections spread across all the walls of the space and fluid transitions that translate color into emotion. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore all stages of Kandinsky’s creation, from his early works influenced by Russian folk art to the period marking his artistic maturity, discovering his spiritual and symbolic universe.

The space becomes a living canvas. The shapes on the walls are not static: they pulse to the rhythm of the soundtrack, decompose and recompose, imitating the artist’s creative process.

Among his most well-known works are: “Couple on Horseback,” “Murnau – View with Church,” as well as the series “Impressions,” “Improvisations,” and “Compositions.”

Wassily Kandinsky – The Prophet of Abstract Art

Kandinsky paved the way for an art that is not only seen, but felt. He was not born a painter, but became one through a revelation he experienced at the age of 30. Wassily Kandinsky was not only a painter, but a visionary who broke the barriers between visible reality and inner experience. Moreover, he was among the few modern artists who explicitly formulated his own theory of art.

Kandinsky suffered from synesthesia, a neurological condition in which the senses intertwine. Thus, for him, painting was a musical act, and painting was compared to a piano: color is the keyboard, the eyes are the hammers, and the soul is the piano with many strings.

His influence can be found in abstract expressionism, kinetic art, and even in contemporary multimedia installations and immersive experiences. Practically, this deep connection lies at the foundation of the entire immersive show.
